At Heritage, we are committed to delivering your order safely, securely, and within the estimated delivery timelines. Every order is carefully packed using premium-quality packaging materials to ensure that your handcrafted pieces reach you in perfect condition.
We process and ship orders throughout the week, excluding Sundays and public holidays.
To ensure reliable and timely delivery, all shipments are handled through trusted courier and logistics partners including DHL, FedEx, Blue Dart, DTDC, UPS, and other reputed carriers.
Shipping Timelines
Domestic Shipping – India
- Orders within India are generally delivered within 3–7 working days from the date of dispatch.
- Delivery timelines may vary depending on the destination city and serviceability.
International Shipping
- International deliveries typically take 5–10 working days depending on the destination country, customs clearance processes, and local courier networks.
Art, Collectibles & Large Decor Pieces
- Heritage Art, Collectibles, furniture, or oversized handcrafted pieces may require additional transit time.
- Such shipments are dispatched through specialized surface or freight logistics partners within India and international carriers for overseas deliveries.
Shipping Charges
Within India
- Heritage offers complimentary shipping across India on all eligible orders.
International Orders
- International shipping charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on the destination, package dimensions, and order value.
Customs Duties & Taxes
Most international shipments are dispatched on a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) basis, which means customs duties and import taxes are generally covered in advance.
However, in certain countries or exceptional cases, local customs authorities may levy additional charges upon delivery. If such duties are charged unexpectedly, customers are advised to complete the payment to avoid shipment delays and contact the Heritage support team with valid proof of payment for further assistance.
Please note:
- Customs regulations differ by country and remain outside Heritage’s control.
- Certain categories such as art, collectibles, or oversized shipments may not qualify for DDP shipping.
International Customs Documentation
For some international orders, especially high-value shipments, customs authorities may require additional documentation from the recipient. This may include:
- Government-issued identity proof
- Passport
- Tax identification number
- Social security number
- Customs declaration forms
Failure to provide the requested documentation within the specified timeframe may result in the shipment being returned to India. In such situations, customs duties, return shipping charges, taxes, and associated costs may be deducted, and the order may become non-refundable.
Packaging
For sustainability and shipping efficiency, multiple items from a single order may be packed together in one shipment.
If you require:
- Individual gift packaging
- Separate boxes for each item
- Personalized packaging requests
additional charges may apply.
Remote Area Deliveries
Certain remote or non-serviceable locations may attract an additional shipping surcharge imposed by courier partners. In such cases, customers will be informed in advance before dispatch.
Delays & Exceptions
While we strive to deliver all orders within the estimated timelines, occasional delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
- Weather conditions
- Customs clearance delays
- Public holidays
- Transport disruptions
- Strikes or operational issues with courier partners
In such cases, the Heritage team will remain available to assist and keep you updated regarding your shipment status.
